I was born and raised in Portrane alongside my three siblings and I am now living in Donabate with my wife Catriona. My family have strong connections with the Donabate, Portrane and wider Fingal area through employment, sport and community organisations. I work as a Clinical Nurse Specialist out of the Mater Hospital where I specialise in care of the older person.
During my five years on the Council I have had the great privilege of helping many people and organisations on a wide variety of issues and I am well aware of the difficulties and challenges that people continue to face daily. I believe that with your support I am in a much stronger position now to assist people and organisations
into the future, with the invaluable five years of Council experience behind me.
As a proud Fingal man, I take great pride in putting the community first and putting local people at the heart of all my work as your local Councillor. I have worked hard on many issues such as housing,
infrastructure (physical and social), policing, transport and the very serious issue of coastal erosion and the risk of flooding. Other priorities for me both now and into the future include the
provision of better sporting, community and recreational amenities. I am strongly opposed in any shape or form to developer led planning and my work on Fingal County Council over the last five years
has shown this. I will continue to ensure that any development happens in phases and is underpinned by investment in physical and community infrastructure.
As your local Councillor, I am fully committed to representing you in Fingal County Council to ensure our communities get the attention and investment they deserve, so they can continue to be truly great places to live, work, do business and visit. If you would like to contact me on any issue please don’t hesitate to get in touch and I would be more than happy to assist.
